After the initial presentation by our colleagues Rubén costa rica number data Bastón and Yara Quevedo , Ángel Sánchez , former Head of Digital at Blue Banana, took the stage . This first talk of the day allowed attendees to learn first-hand about his experience working at a clothing brand whose focus, surprisingly, was not on fashion.
In his presentation, Ángel recalled his time at the company, which has seen explosive growth in a short period of time based on its use of social media and its positioning in the minds of young adults as a benchmark brand.
Ángel began his speech by recalling some of the keys that have allowed Blue Banana to grow to what it represents today. “We focused on creating value for the customer, not on creating trends,” he stressed, before giving some advice that he would have liked to have known before starting out in the online business world.
