Interior design is a complex discipline that involves several phases of implementation, starting with the client's idea: sketches, a basic project phase, implementation and construction management.
The first sketches are of great importance , as they will be the first images that the client will see of his/her dream space, hence the importance of drawing . Drawing is the language that has accompanied human beings since the first civilizations to express their needs for communication and representation.
The Greek term graphy designates the activities of writing and drawing, but they gradually became differentiated, since writing has a rational character, while drawing does not.
In Rome there was the term graphidis vestigia panama phone data which comes from the Latin designare , meaning to point out, in short, sign or image. In China and Japan there is a single term to define the activity of painting, drawing and writing, Hua.
Drawing in the Renaissance
The first written test of drawing took place in 30 BC, when the Roman architect Vitruvius wrote his treatise "De Architectura" , where he states: "the architect must be skillful with the pencil and have knowledge of drawing in order to easily represent the work that he wants to build."
The importance of drawing is described by Chiberti in the 14th century as: "one cannot be good at the art of sculpting or painting without mastering the theory and practice of drawing"; Cenino Cenini in the 15th century defined it as: "the foundation of art". Vasari in the 16th century as: "it is the greatest since it is the basis of all the arts", treating drawing as the only physical way of translating an idea, thus giving birth to the concept of drawing.
The drawings of Brunelleschi and especially those of Leonardo Da Vinci define drawing as a sketch or pictorial study; shortly after it was considered a discipline in its own right.
