junior gold cupAfter a total of 95 Players turned out for the Illawarra Gold Cup Trials on Tuesday and Wednesday last week the final squads have been announced. With the program getting underway next week in earnest, 63 boys have been selected across the two squads to start training on Monday November 4.This exciting program will culminate with a national tournament with 24 zones across Australia competing in Under 17 and Under 15 age groups.
The squads will train under head coaches Jay Tregonning phone number list Tony Leeder-Smith right through till Christmas when they will take a break resuming training in mid-January to prepare for the tournament commencing on February 14, 2014. A five week series of home and away matches will allow local rugby enthusiasts to support our squads as they compete against the best rugby players from around the country.
