Google adds 'web' filter to only show text links in search results

Post by samiaseo222 »

Google is constantly improving its features and now comes with a new search filter that aims to show only text links in search results. This filter is called "Web". If you click on it, you will remove videos , images and other forms of search results. Only plain blue links are displayed.

Where to find the web filter? You'll find it next to mexico phone number data other filters on the page. Sometimes you'll find it on the same line as the video filter, message filter, etc. Other times you'll have to look for it in the "More" menu.

The web filter is apparently being created by Liaison Danny Sullivan, who wrote on the X network (formerly Twitter): "Ever since I joined Google, I've been standing in front of the search group like a little boy asking for something like a filter to be up and running as soon as possible. I'm so happy it's finally here. Congratulations to the hardworking team on this project, who have turned all their ideas into reality through their own diligence!"

He added: “We’ve launched a new ‘Web’ filter that shows only text links , just as you can easily filter to see other types of results, such as images or videos. The filter will appear at the top of the page with results and other filters, or as part of the ‘More’ option. What made us do this? We decided to do this after hearing from some Google users that there are times when they would prefer to see only links to web pages in their search results , such as when searching for longer text documents on a mobile device.”

Google tested the new "Web" web filter in the form of web results back in February of this year.
