Burning waveguide cover or magnetron cover

No signs of life
Usually the main fuse fails, often due to a faulty interlock. This often involves removing the interlock resistor. Do not replace the fuse until the interlock components have been checked for proper operation and the interlock resistor is good.

Sometimes the door will not lock properly because it is out of alignment. Adjust the hinges slightly until they are properly aligned.

Sometimes repositioning a door is not possible for the end user. It is easy to glue a little sheet material to the bottom edge of the door so that the spacer slightly lifts the door into the correct position when closed.

At the nuclei
either there is a metal waveguide to conduct microwaves into the cooking chamber, with a waveguide cover, or the magnetron is located next to the cooking cavity without a guide and a molded plastic magnetron cover.

Burning Waveguide Cover
In ovens equipped with a waveguide, microwave high-frequency energy enters the cooking chamber through a waveguide cover made of mica or fiberglass. The cover is located on the roof or high on the side of the cooking chamber. If burnt manure accumulates on it, it will eventually burn off.

Remove the burnt waveguide cover and check that the stove uae telegram data now works properly, heating only water. Do not continue to use it without the cover, otherwise it will not last long. Cut a new piece to the shape and size.

Use waveguide coating material, not plastic. The wrong material can catch fire and deposit dirt in the waveguide, which is very difficult to clean - and if there is dirt, the oven will short out.

Sometimes the stove will still bend with the waveguide cover off due to gunk in the mouth of the waveguide. Clean the gunk out and it should be fine, but you have to be careful.

Cover of a burning magnetron
The problem is almost the same as the burning waveguide cover.

If you catch it quickly enough with little damage, thoroughly clean the plastic cap, remove the carbonation and replace.
