Writing tip #12: Have a treasure chest

Post by Mitu100@ »

Writing tip #10: Hang with the “big boys.”
How do you connect with someone digitally? Through a newsletter. That sounds banal, I know. But let me explain: Some of my greatest insights came from newsletters. Why? Because you can reach the "big guys" through the email list. All good bloggers respond to their newsletter subscribers. I do it anyway - even though I have thousands of readers.

Writing tip #11: Don’t lose a thought.
Do you have a spontaneous idea for an chile telegram screening article while you're taking a poop? Then write it down immediately. A small notebook or your smartphone is best. Whatever you choose, always keep it to hand. When the muse kisses you, you have to have her lipstick on paper - otherwise you'll forget everything again.

You should not only write down your own ideas, but also those of others. I call it the "treasure chest". Copywriters call it a swipe file. In it you collect anecdotes, stories or quotes that are particularly powerful. If you have writer's block again , need a headline or a story to get you started, then look in your treasure chest.
