For a while I wrote all my blog posts in Simplenote . This is a free editor from the software company Automattic, which also created the Android app for WordPress. Simplenote works in the browser, but also as an app on all operating systems. The font is very easy to read on the monitor and SimpleNote supports Markdown, a simple page description language that WordPress also understands, so I can at least pre-format headings and lists as I write (without having to fiddle around with the mouse or touchpad).

But nothing is as constant as change. Via EverNote [ advertising link] and Write ! [ advertising link] I came to iA Writer, which I currently use.

Then the blog post is allowed to mature again and I take a longer break (during which I usually cook lunch).
The text is then read again, corrected and then I copy and paste it into the Scompler editor. In Scompler I check the text for unnecessary filler words and foreign words and see whether the level of difficulty meets my expectations. The text is then transferred to WordPress.
