Melanie Kohl: I use offline contacts to gain newsletter subscribers. At every seminar, every lecture and in coaching, there is the opportunity to subscribe to my newsletter. All handouts for seminar participants include a reference to the newsletter. The advantage of offline contacts is that this target group already knows me, is very interested in my topic and has already built up initial trust by attending an event. This means that I have above-average newsletter opening rates. In addition, I always point out on Facebook when my new newsletter is published, so that Facebook contacts have the opportunity to subscribe to the list. I have integrated a pop-up on the website. New subscribers receive a small gift.
Question: If you look at your Facebook wall, you notice how much you are out and about, attending events and meeting other people. How important are these physical networking encounters for you compared to digital networking?
Melanie Kohl: In my opinion, for a long-term network partnership twitter data that can generate recommendations or professional collaboration, you should also meet in real life. When I am in other cities for work, I often use the opportunity to write to contacts from my virtual network and arrange a personal meeting to deepen the contact. For this reason, digital networks and physical network meetings are both very important to me and complement each other.

Question: How would you briefly describe what your contacts see from you on Facebook and what benefits you offer there?
Melanie Kohl: Authentic insights into my entrepreneurial life, my personal experiences and stories. I often get feedback that people can see that I love what I do. Up-to-dateness is important to me. I usually have my smartphone to hand and publish experiences in real time so that my fans feel like they are always informed. I report on successes, post testimonials, but also share pictures from private vacations and personal experiences.
