In 2021, we will see the emergence of new business models that, together with artificial intelligence and 5G, will contribute to the deployment of edge computing. Remote monitoring and data processing directly on IoT devices will be quite noticeable competition to cloud platforms, the growth of which will decrease from 42% in 2018 to 24% by 2022.
