Prioritizing tasks
The absolute foundation of successful time management is prioritizing and dividing your time according to their urgency. It is understandable that all tasks are important to you, but some are more urgent than others. You can divide individual tasks into four quadrants based on their importance and urgency :
Important and urgent: this is the category that includes the biggest "burners" on your agenda; these could be projects with an approaching deadline or activities that are essential for the proper and taiwan email list smooth running of your business, household, etc.
Important but not urgent: the next category consists of tasks that are not so urgent, but are essentially very important; these are typically large orders or projects for which you still have relatively enough time at the given moment, but your reputation depends greatly on the quality of their processing, i.e. leaving them to the last minute is definitely not worth it.
Unimportant and urgent: these are activities that are important to others, but not to us and our goals; for example, answering unimportant emails, handling unimportant phone calls, etc. In the long run, they are the least effective and bring the least benefit.
Unimportant and non-urgent , in other words, time thieves, to which we often succumb ourselves. A typical example is procrastination, which delays us from the first three categories, or surfing social networks . Try to eliminate these activities as much as possible.
