YoIndia has become a testing ground for Facebook's new features, thanks to its dominance in the country and the enormous size of its market. The social network has around 410 million users, according to data revealed by the Indian government in late February. A much larger user base than the one in the United States, its center of operations, making it ideal for testing its new features.

Let's remember that last year, due to diplomatic tensions between China and India, TikTok, the app of the moment, was censored. Based on this situation, Facebook took part and began testing a new germany business email database function that imitated the short videos of the Asian application . This, following the tradition of Mark Zuckerberg's company, copies the most relevant features of its rivals, just as Reels were born on Instagram.

Facebook will incorporate Reels into its platform
Following on from Reels, Facebook has started another round of testing in India for a new feature on its platform. This feature will allow users to share Instagram Reels, thus allowing the creators of these videos to have a greater reach with their content.

With this, content creators will be able to bridge the gap of 200 million users between the two applications. For the moment, this function has only been enabled for a specific group of influencers and public figures from the Asian country with public accounts. With the incorporation of Reels into the Facebook feed, the company joins the growing trend of short videos, a trend that has proven to be very successful among the younger population.
