LThe Spanish Royal Family has just launched its Instagram account . Although this step has been a long time coming, it has not gone unnoticed and in just 3 hours the account had already surpassed 21,000 followers. The arrival on the famous social network coincides almost exactly with the tenth anniversary of the coronation of King Felipe VI , which took place on June 19, 2014.
In fact, the first post made on this new profile was a carousel of photographs corresponding to the celebration of this event yesterday. In these, the royal family can be seen enjoying the event, something that coincides with the feeling of familiarity, closeness and unity on which royal communication has been based for some time now.
Likewise, in 2014 the Royal Family opened its profile on uruguay number data Twitter . This has led some users to joke about the time it has taken to make the leap to Instagram and about when the next phase will occur: TikTok.
The Instagram of the Royal Family
For some time now, the Royal Family has been trying to renew its image with the aim of bringing it in line with current times and conveying an image that is closer to the public. The opening of an official Instagram account, which joins its Twitter and YouTube profiles, is a new step in this direction.
The coat of arms of the King of Spain has been chosen as the profile photo , opting for a symbol that represents the crown and not the individual who wears it. Where we already see the images of the king and the royal family is in the Featured Stories section . Specifically, there is one for King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, Infanta Sofía and Honorary Queen Sofía, highlighting the absence of Honorary King Juan Carlos.
Likewise, featured stories have also been created for relevant topics such as "audiences", "science", "culture", "economy" or "training", among others.
