When you ask marketers which social network is, many will mention LinkedIn. After all, LinkedIn was developed as a business network, suitable for making and maintaining business contacts. But Facebook is also becoming increasingly attractive for business purposes, due to the growth that the network is experiencing. Which of these two platforms offers the most opportunities for B2B marketing? That is the question we ask in this edition of the Infographic Day series .
BOP Design developed the infographic below, in which both networks are compared. The creators state that Facebook is very suitable for B2B marketing, because business users spend the most time on this network. In the United brother cell phone list States, LinkedIn is used 326 million minutes per month, while Facebook use there is currently 53.5 billion minutes per month. In addition, Facebook has 155 million users, almost three times as many as LinkedIn. There are currently 55 million users. Finally, LinkedIn has more than 22 million users aged 35 or older, compared to the 51 million users that Facebook has in the age range of 35 to 64.
For what purposes can you use Facebook as a B2B marketer? American marketers advise to use this network for thought leadership (59.8 percent), lead generation (48.9 percent), obtaining feedback (45.7 percent) and for advertising purposes (34.7 percent).
