Post by Mitu100@ »

The page description (meta description) is still very important. With the page description you can influence the text in Google's search results (the SERP snippet) . But only if Google finds that the information in it is helpful for the searcher. Otherwise Google simply takes parts of your website and puts together something of its own. This sometimes even happens with the titles of your blog articles!

If you don't use an SEO plugin, for example because you're working with a website builder like Jimdo or Wix, you can use a snippet generator to create your meta description.

The thing with keywords
The shorter the keyword, the belgium telegram screening harder it is to fight your way to the top because the more competition there is for the keyword and the more unclear the search intent is. Just think of the tea-kettle words like "high blood pressure," "cancer," or "cross." What exactly did the searcher want to know or do? Even Google can't guess that yet.

Most Google users now search for longer word combinations. The results that Google provides are usually much better and lead to the desired result more quickly.

These longer keywords are called long tail keywords in technical terms. Long tail is a very nice metaphor and means something like "long tail". A long tail keyword is, for example, "basics of search engine optimization for beginners".
