A/B testing – it's strange, everyone always thinks that professionals in the business can do everything on the first try and always have an immediate insight. But that's not true at all.

Because marketing consists above all of one thing:

Test, test, test!

You may know this from market research. During product development, tests are carried out to see whether customers like chocolate bar XY , whether this or another packaging is more chile telegram screening popular, or whether a small or large chocolate bar is more popular with customers.

Many people don't realize that you can also test advertising measures. In traditional brand communication, this was and still is almost impossible for small and medium-sized companies due to cost reasons. In online marketing, however, testing is easier and cheaper than ever before.

A/B test
When you test something in marketing, you often talk about A/B testing , split testing or running something "against each other".

So if you find one of these terms in your newsletter tool, for example, you now know what it is.

Basically, the total number of your recipients is simply divided up. Half of them illuminate one variant, the other half the other variant. So much for the basic principle.
