A maglev train has rolled off the production line in the coastal city of Qingdao in eastern China and is currently the fastest land transport in the world.
According to the China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation, the train was developed by China and is the country's latest scientific and technological achievement in the field of rail transport. Production of the train began in October 2016. The prototype was manufactured in Qingdao and tests were carried out in Shanghai in June 2020.
According to the project's lead engineer, Ding Sansan, the train greece number data could consist of two to ten cars for 100 passengers. It could be the best solution for trips up to 1,500 km and would occupy a niche between high-speed trains and aviation.
The maximum speed of the vehicle is 600 km/h. According to the manufacturers, this is the fastest land transport in the world.
force, so they produce less noise due to the absence of friction between the wheel and the rail. In addition, their minimum turning radius is half that of the subway, which allows them to better bypass buildings when planning a route. Such trains are designed to travel in narrow spaces.
As Xinhua notes, China is the world leader in high-speed railway construction; by the end of 2020, the country had 37,900 km of high-speed railway lines.
