With the new Google Analytics 4, Google is providing website operators with an improved version. The above-mentioned innovations and the switch from Universal Analytics to GA4 are definitely noticeable and require a certain amount of preparation. Google is also still introducing one or two upgrades.
In view of the deactivation of UA Properties, we recommend implementing GA4 as soon as possible or checking automatically created properties.
Implementing an e-commerce setup in GA4 is (in our experience so far) not quite so trivial. Here too, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the new material right from the start. I don't know your source for this passage: "Important: Although GA4 advertises the data-driven attribution model, the dimensions with "First user interaction - ..." and "Session - ..." are still last-click" -> the Google documentation doesn't mention this, what are you referring to here?
