How does Dveromat work

Post by nusaiba125 »

We transformed this idea and created our own "one-armed bandit", calling it "Dveromat" - a machine for choosing doors (the client is a manufacturer of entrance doors). It was conceived for those visitors who first visited the site, have not yet decided on a choice, or do not even know what product they need.

The "Dveromat" is called by pressing the button on cameroon consumer email list the left edge of the screen, where the user is accustomed to seeing the online consultant window.
When you click on the "handle", a random product is issued with a receipt and a "More details" button to go to the product page.
When restarted, the check is torn off and a new random product is issued.
After 8 attempts, the machine “breaks” and offers to go to the general product catalog.

In the original idea, the "one-armed bandit" was supposed to appear for users automatically after 3 minutes on the site. But thanks to analytics, we learned that only 1 out of 5 users who were shown the machine entered the game, and we decided to remove this option, installing a call to the machine by clicking on the "Help me choose a door" button.

Visitor interest is pure statistics
We were able to obtain data on interaction with Dveromat using web analytics systems already in the first 2 weeks of the one-armed bandit’s operation:

Of the 97,000 visitors to the site, 10,000 played Dveromat.
1500 people eventually converted to the product offered.
In total, Dveromat has been played 54,000 times.
Every 5th player eventually "suffered until it broke."
