What is considered website loading time?

Post by nusaiba127 »

This is the time it takes to load all elements of an Internet resource. It is divided into four stages:

1. Server response
This is the time it takes for the network and server to respond to a browser request to a site.

2. First byte load time
Time To First Byte or TTFB measures how long it takes from uruguay consumer email list a user's request to the first byte on a web page being loaded.

3. Loading HTML
The browser loads the layout, styles, and content of the page.

4. Rendering
The time it takes to load the visual part of the page - photos, videos, gifs.

You need to know these stages to understand what exactly search engines evaluate and how to improve the indicators. The parameters are measured in seconds, but for layout and rendering it is also useful to know the traffic volume.

The most important metric for search engines (at least Google) is TTFB.
