Get to know Telegram and its messaging tools.

Post by monira444 »

See how to use this application, what makes it different from others and its advantages.
Although WhatsApp is the most used messaging app in the world, Telegram has been gaining ground and attracting more and more users, especially in the business world.

What is Telegram?
Telegram is a free messaging app, created in 2013 in Russia, and available for Android , iPhone ( iOS ) and Windows Phone cell phones , as well as desktop and web versions.

All conversation content is stored in the cloud, meaning that sending larger messages and files is faster. It also allows you to send voice messages, images, videos, emojis and the famous stickers.

The app's main focus is the security of its users' data and messages. Therefore, it allows end-to-end encrypted conversations , creating secret chats and sending self-destructing messages.

Using Telegram is easy:

Download the app on your cell bitcoin data phone or open it on your computer;
Register the desired number. If it is for your company, the tip is to have an exclusive number, this way you keep personal and professional information separate;
With the application open and the number registered, choose the profile photo, enter the identification data and start using it.
What does Telegram have that WhatsApp doesn't?
Although they are messaging apps and have many similarities, there are some tools available on Telegam that WhatsApp does not yet have:

• Transmission channels:
You might be thinking now: “But WhatsApp has that too!” The big difference is that, on Telegram, interested parties sign up to your broadcast list to receive messages, news, promotions, products and services.

Another point is that only the channel owner can send messages. Furthermore, anyone who arrives after the channel has been created can access everything that was sent before, and can search for keywords to find content.

• Groups with up to 200 thousand people:
That's a lot of people, right? That's why it's possible to organize the entire conversation using hashtags for mentions among users and add administrators to monitor and take care of the group.

• Password protection of the application:
Remember when we said that, for Telegram, security comes first? That's why it allows each user to lock the app using a personal password.

• The desktop version is independent of the mobile version:
If you use WhatsApp Web, you know that you need to point your phone at the QR Code that appears on the screen and keep it nearby and connected to the internet. With Telegram, you don't need to do this. Its web version is independent of your phone and you can access it from wherever you want.
