Apart from this, the most relevant thing is that Google has announced that it will allow companies in the tourism sector around the world to offer their booking links for free on its platform.
“We have now enhanced our offering and, starting this week, hotels and travel agencies around the world will be able to appear free of charge in booking links on google.com/travel. By being able to access a wider range of hotels and prices, users will have more options to choose from when planning their trips and booking.”
This initiative offers a new way to connect with customers, and for advertisers it can mean a greater impact of their campaigns. For their part, companies that already use Google tools will not have to do anything to appear on this list. And new companies that want to use this service will only need a Hotel Center account. Likewise, the technology giant commented that it has more news planned for this year 2021.
“Over the coming months, we will also continue to improve the process of adding new properties to Hotel Center and launch tools that will allow each hotel to directly publish their rates and availability, without complex technical requirements.”
Google has set itself up as a support for the reconstruction of the global economic panorama
This is not the first such initiative by the company to help ghana business email database stabilize the economy after the eventful year of 2020. In October, it made its Google Shopping tool free to everyone , giving merchants a way to expand their reach without decimating their funds.
Specifically in Spain, the Think Futurism with Google initiative was carried out, which sought to define the main problems of the tourism industry and, based on this, come up with fresh and innovative solutions to tackle them and revitalise this sector. This campaign identified a new trend in tourism, focused on calmer and more natural environments, as well as a new profile of traveller, called digital nomad, who travels to different places of interest to balance teleworking with personal life.
Based on this, and with the new tools that Google is making available to the sector and consumers, the sector expects a more favorable return to travel and tourism. Always with the goal of expanding the access platforms for consumers to offer a more complete and enjoyable experience for them.
“While the world will surely look different when we travel again, our mission to be a trusted source of travel information has not changed. And to fulfill that mission, we remain committed to delivering better user experiences and working closely with the entire industry,” the statement concludes.
