Turning experience into advantage. In other words, turn experience into advantage. And that from the perspective that everything you encounter has already been done by someone else. The expectations for the future are that new developments will follow each other at an even faster pace. That is why we must constantly improve and learn from each other, so that we do not make mistakes that have already been made by others. Why experiment, when the answers are already there? That is what Janus Boye says during the Web & Intranet Congress of the J. Boye network in Aarhus. To tie in with the theme 'Turning experience into advantage': in this article I share experiences of experts and experienced professionals who provided a session during the congress on implementing a (social) intranet.

You should not see it as a step-by-step plan, but more as 'lessons learned' pakistan mobile phone number list which others have gained when setting up and implementing a social intranet in their organization. In addition, I share some experiences from my own experience. What do you need to know and what do you need to think about and take into account when you start with a social intranet.

So obvious, but oh so important: without a business case you won't get far. And that goes deeper than 'we want to share knowledge' or 'we want to work better together'. When drawing up a good business case you should not be satisfied too quickly with the answer you get at first.
