The documents claim that while the company's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, in testimony before the US Congress downplayed reports of hate speech being posted on the social network, he was aware that the problem was much broader than he stated, as the documents claim that the social network had removed less than 5% of hate speech, and that company executives, including Zuckerberg, knew that Facebook was polarizing people.
