How we chose the 50 best social media agencies in Spain

Determining which are the best social media agencies in Spain is not easy . We could use many criteria to do so: their prestige in the sector, their performance on social media, customer opinions, etc. And even if we approached it from all aspects, we would still not be able to determine with certainty which are the best, since the same agency can do a great job with one brand and another not so much with another , just because of a change of sector, a different type of brand or even because of the professionals involved in the campaign.

To create this list, we sent a direct survey to more than 300 Spanish agencies , of which 68 decided to participate and provide business data, among which we have highlighted the first 50. This is a fundamental aspect of our ranking: it is prepared based on business data, provided by the agencies themselves.

The parameters consulted that determined the positions were:

Total number of social media (SM) clients .
Billing managed in SM during 2023 (not including social ads).
Billing managed in SM during 2023 (only counting venezuela number data social ads). This variable was incorporated in this edition to have a more global view of the service that an agency can provide on social media, which affected different agencies for better or worse, depending on their orientation in social media services (i.e., whether they are stronger in organic content or social ads).
Number of new SM customers acquired during 2023.
Billing managed in SM for new clients 2023.
Average investment per client .
Number of SM specialists.
The opinion of companies (new variable): We have sent an open voting questionnaire to our database of companies asking them to name the 3 best Social Media agencies in Spain. The more votes, the more points.
The procedure for defining the positions was as follows: we made a specific ranking for each of the criteria mentioned above. Each of them determined a position for each company (from 1 to 68). In the final table, all these partial classifications were added together, which resulted in an average: the lower the average position, the better the ranking .
