Have you ever had a conversation that left you so energized that you felt like you could run a marathon?
Well, that happened to me last night during a two-hour session with Gaston Remy. Beyond being an investor , Gaston is an incredible mentor.
I shared with him the progress of SquadS Ventures and the challenges we are facing, and time literally flew by.
Preparing for mentoring
In our talk, I prepared to discuss four concrete points that are key to the growth of SquadS Ventures.
Gaston's experience and wisdom were invaluable, and I want to share with you some of the most important insights I gained:
These points are not only crucial for the development of our company , but also reflect the importance of having a mentor to guide you and provide constructive feedback.
Let's dive deeper into each of these aspects to better understand how they can impact the growth of SquadS Ventures.
Feedback on team growth
The first point we discussed was the growth of the SquadS team.
I gave Gaston a background on what we are learning about FIT with younger people, with an average age of 22 years.
Your feedback was super valuable and will help us fine-tune our key strategy, since it is all about the team.
Gaston made me realize the importance of understanding the motivations and aspirations of young talents. He suggested that we implement internal mentoring programs and professional development opportunities to keep belize mobile phone numbers database them motivated and engaged.
She also recommended that we foster a culture of constant feedback so that everyone feels heard and valued.
We will continue to discuss this point to ensure that we are on the right track. The key is to build a strong and cohesive team that shares our vision and values.
The idea of having a SquadS house in Buenos Aires
The second point we discussed was the idea of having a SquadS house in Buenos Aires. Gastón told me about the NUQLEA house and how it has helped them consolidate their company culture , something we have prioritized from the very beginning.

Speaking with the Squaders, we are looking forward to doing the first test between September and October, coinciding with the arrival of Cristian from Colombia, Santiago from Bolivia and Kai from Mexico. The idea is to create a space where we can work together, share ideas and strengthen our organizational culture.

Gaston gave me some advice on how to structure this initiative to maximize its impact. He suggested that we organize team building activities and brainstorming sessions to foster collaboration and creativity. He also recommended that we use this space to conduct workshops and training sessions that will help us continue to grow as a team.
