The Dalai Lama is not only a spiritual figure but also a role model when it comes to building a blog community. This post is part of the series about “celebrities” and what we can learn from them.

You don't have to be the Dalai Lama to create a community. You can still learn a lot from him about how to treat your readers to achieve this. The goal is to create a circle of people who help you promote your blog and act voluntarily as your spokespersons.

Why is it good to create a community for the blog?
We all have limited resources. We can create good content all day long and publish it. But it still doesn't do us any good if we don't also invest a significant amount of time in promoting it.
A blog community can be made up of Twitter followers, journalists email list subscribers, Facebook fans, etc. The size of the community is not as important as the level of interaction with your content. Having a high number of followers or fans does not mean that you have created a strong community around your blog.
Having loyal followers of each of your blog posts ensures automatic promotion of your posts. This way, you can continue to grow your audience without having to invest so many resources in promotion, and you can focus more on content creation.
What does it take to create a community around my blog?
There are a few key factors that are required when creating a blog community. Although most of them are basic, they are not easy to achieve. It is a long-distance race.
Consistency in publishing : publish and write whenever you can. You should publish at least 2 posts per week. I have gone from publishing 1-2 times to daily posts. The impact in terms of traffic, followers, comments, feedback, etc. is worth the effort.
