Without advertising, you will no longer be logged in on Facebook

It was clear to me from the post that according to Mark, Facebook is overwhelmed with content from companies and brands, so friends' posts will fall into the NewsFeed. Logically, Facebook should start prioritizing posts and content from my friends. He probably meant it seriously, because in February, Facebook developers introduced a more accurate algorithm that measures the reach of posts on pages. It is noteworthy that the more accurate algorithm shows a smaller reach . On our pages, the reach decreased by about 60-70%.
According to AdAge, companies spent 5% less at the end of 2017. In Facebook's case, that's $50 million a day. We can speculate that Facebook is not so much thinking about the well-being of its users as about a better business bottom line.
I WANT A SOCIAL MEDIA AUDIT
New newsfeed: posts from friends and groups.
Mark promised that Facebook will start focusing more on social interactions . You can expect to see more posts from friends or groups that others like or discuss. At the same time, Facebook will continue to homeowner database penalize like-baiting, i.e. posts that force interaction. Challenges such as "tag a friend who..." or "Like if you agree" are considered forced.
The Newsfeed will start to be ranked as follows: Personal profiles of your friends and people from their immediate environment will have priority . Corporate posts will be displayed after them. The criterion will be how users comment, share and like a particular post. The least space will be given to unnecessary ballast that people probably don't even want to hear about. As a result, Facebook should really turn into a platform where you can discuss interesting topics, share experiences and have discussions.
No doubt the new look would lead to you spending more time on it. (Have you read the recent statistics that people are spending less time on Facebook? Coincidence? We don't think so.)
Companies will have to invest
An algorithm that focuses on social interactions will obviously hurt businesses the most – as they will be shown less. Not to mention the ban on baiting posts. Brands have no choice but to adjust their social media strategy.
