The normal mechanical properties of 09CrCuSb steel (ND steel) with good sulfuric acid corrosion resistance are similar to those of 20-GB3087 steel. To improve their sulfuric acid corrosion resistance, Cr (0.70%-1.10%) is added, which also improves the performance of steel at higher temperatures. GB150-1998 specifies that the working temperature of 09CrCuSb steel (ND steel) can reach 400, and good elongation ensures good ductility of steel pipe when bending. At the same time, 09CrCuSb steel (ND steel) also guarantees various processing properties upon delivery, including carrying out hydraulic testing at 20MPa for each pipe (20-GB3087 is 10MPa) and eddy current testing or ultrasonic testing (20-GB3087 is usually eddy current testing), with an outside diameter of 22-400mm. (similar to the requirements of 20-GB3087), etc.


4. Comparison with other brands
09CrCuSb (ND steel) is currently the most ideal steel for "corrosion resistance at low sulfuric acid dew point" both at home and abroad. 09CrCuSB (ND steel) seamless steel tubes are widely used in the production of coal-fired boilers and fuel-fired boilers working under the condition of high-sulfur flue gas; heat exchangers, smoke tubes, chimneys, boiler egypt number data air heaters, economizers, heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators and other equipment of electric furnaces are used to resist the corrosion of flue dew points containing sulfur. ND steel also has strong corrosion resistance to nitrogen ions, including hydrochloric acid (HC), hydrofluoric acid (IF), caustic soda (NaOFHD, NaCl) and others. The main benchmark of 09CrCuSb steel pipe (ND steel) (soaked in 50% H2SO4 solution at 70 degrees Celsius for 24 hours) is that the corrosion rate is no more than 14 mg/cm-h. Compared with carbon steel similar to that imported from Japan and stainless steel, the corrosion resistance of these steel grades is higher. The product has been widely recognized and achieved good results after being used in large refineries, power plants and manufacturing enterprises at home and abroad.
