This 11th edition of the Intranet and Digital Workplace Awards again shows intranets and digital work environments (DWO) that add real value to the organization. The value of this international recognition is that other organizations can also learn from these successful examples.
Digital Workplace Trends for 2017
The winners show well how the digital workplace is developing. According to the jury, these were the learning moments of 2017:
Enterprise social networks are reaching a new level of maturity.
Leading intranets are more often based on completely new content than on a migration of old content.
Intranet teams continue to innovate and intranets and DWOs continue to evolve.
A digital work environment for the workplace must be 'mobile-first'.
The success of every DWO is determined by a robust (change) methodology and a talented team.
The apps with the most impact are based on simple ideas.

This year the platinum award was awarded to ANZ – 'else of adoption achieved and business value delivered – a classic textbook example of good practice followed'.
Most KPIs turned out even more positive than anticipated. The jury's conclusion: "A gold standard for other teams to follow!" Some findings in a nutshell:
