There are two types of authors:

Some want to show off.

The others want to be understood.

Unfortunately, you often learned at school (and especially at university) that complicated texts get better grades.

When you write for an audience, it's the other way around.

The more complicated your text, the faster ecuador telegram screening the reader will leave.

This does not mean that you should only write infantile children's texts.

But you should only use technical terms and special words if you are sure that your reader will understand you.

If in doubt: leave it out.

If there is no other option: Use it, but explain it briefly straight away – which, however, slows down the flow of reading.

At that time I said to my wife: "I am going to start a very dangerous experiment. I am going to write for the public, and I am going to write in such a way that everyone will understand what I mean."

By the way, you can find more quotes about writing here .

PS

If you are active in a "complicated" niche, then simplicity also belongs in your text. As a copywriter, I have written for insurance companies, real estate agents and banks. The simple texts were the most popular.
