Read the standard works

You should always read the “standard works” first. That way you know what is common in your industry and you don’t run the risk of selling old wisdom as “new”.

For example, if you want to write an article on the topic of “building wealth”, then you should use classics such as

– “ The Richest Man in Babylon ”* by George S. Clason
– “ Think and Grow Rich ”* by Napoleon Hill
– “ Rich Dad Poor Dad ”* by Robert T. Kiyosaki
