Skill #2: Write just one sentence
Stephen King was once asked how he writes his novels.

His answer?

“One sentence at a time.”

I always use the example of Domino Day: The belize telegram screening participants placed one tile after the other. Brick by brick.

And in the end, a weight of 33,000 kg was moved by just a single stone (Domino Day 2009).

That is the power of one sentence.

My daily writing goal is 1,000 words. But this is too much, especially for beginners or inexperienced writers. So you should only set yourself a goal of one sentence to start with.

The most important thing when writing is to sit down and start.

“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.”

Mark Twain
It's crazy, but it's true. A single true sentence can change the lives of thousands of people.
