"Infoforum" is a unique event for Russia: a discussion platform where representatives of the state and private business - from senators, ministers, industry regulators, senior company executives to individual specialists - can discuss information security topics, communicating in the most intimate and representative manner.
As Infoforum 2018 showed, experts still consider the credit and financial sector to be the most mature in the field of information security in the country, despite the fact that last year about 4 billion rubles were stolen from Russian banks as a result of cybercrimes.
Under the pressure of difficult general economic conditions, banks are trying to reduce operating expenses and usually start with reducing information security expenses, including reducing jamaica mobile database security personnel. A reasonable solution in such conditions is to outsource information security tasks. In this regard, it is especially important to delineate areas of responsibility between clients and information security service providers and to reduce clients' dependence on providers.
The National Biometric Platform will facilitate the provision of information security interaction between users and ICT resources in the context of large-scale digitalization of all areas of life. The project for its development, as explained by Rostelecom Project Director Yulia Dudkina, was initiated by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and Minsk Communications with a focus on application primarily in the banking sector. Rostelecom has been appointed as the developer.
