When it comes to building your personal brand on LinkedIn, there are a few basics you need to know:

Fill out all sections of your profile . This includes an engaging and storytelling “About” section, a headline, bullet points about past experiences that clearly describe the impact you’ve made, skills get those endorsements!, and recommendations you can ask for these from colleagues, clients, or mentors.
Use professional headshots. These should be bright, easy to see, and completely professional. No dimly lit selfies.
