Let's start with time

By resources, I mean both time and money. The more money you can invest, the less time you will need (perhaps). The more time you invest, the cheaper your online business will be. Or more or less.

If you are in the fortunate situation of not having any other (professional) obligations, if you can fully concentrate on building your online business, you will be able to cope very well with a normal 40-hour week. But very few people who build their online business are in this comfortable situation. Many start as sidepreneurs (in addition to their employment) or in addition to their full-time self-employment. Existing agreements and orders must be adhered to and fulfilled. Building the online business quickly takes up all of your "after work" time and weekends.

I make no secret of it:

The development of Marketing-Zauber, with bosnia and herzegovina telegram screening my customer projects for Rat & Tat Marketing and my teaching assignments for the Business Academy Ruhr and the AltenAkademie Dortmund, has meant that since January I have regularly worked 70 hours a week - with no weekends at all and with a total of five days off in seven months.

Despite all the fun I had, the many successes, the joy of doing it, this is obviously not something I want to keep going on a long-term basis. My four-week break, which ended this weekend, marks an important turning point. By the end of the year, I will gradually reduce my weekly working hours again.

For us solopreneurs, our labor is our most valuable asset – it cannot simply be exploited.

Update 2018 – I actually managed it. My weekly working hours are still significantly higher than 40 hours – but 70 per week are only in exceptional cases.
