Since this tool cannot recognize German texts, the result here is obviously not good. The German text was most likely written by a human. This is changing, perhaps this tool should also work on recognizing German texts.

The provider Copyleaks primarily offers plagiarism detection of text and code and has been on the market for a long time. Of course, the detection of AI content is an obvious choice here and that is why there is not only the option to test texts for free in the interface, but also an API that is supposed to recognize AI content.

Unlike many other providers, the tool currently supports saudi-arabia number dataset English, Spanish, German, French and Portuguese , with additional languages in the works.

In my test, both texts were reliably recognized and identified with a high degree of probability as AI texts. Even changes made by tools such as DeepL Write did not change the assessment.

The free tool from Writer.com analyses your text for free and then gives you a number from 0 to 100% indicating how likely the text you entered was written by humans. The tool is very easy to use and does not require any registration.

Unfortunately, I could not find any information about the exact approach of the technology behind the detection.

I inserted both test texts into the tool and had the results calculated.

Only 36% of the English text is written by humans and is therefore quite clearly recognizable.

The German text, on the other hand, is 100% written by humans according to this tool. So it seems as if most tools here are only focused on English texts.
