After having underlined how convenient it is to focus on new gTLDs, at least as far as Brand Identity is concerned , let's move on to the focal point of our discussion today:
Do new domain extensions provide SEO benefits?
To answer this question, we need to take a step back to when new extensions began to uses of twitter spread and when there was initially so much confusion regarding their supposed benefits for SEO .
The launch of so many new extensions in a short space of time has contributed to creating a great deal of commotion that has given rise to many different theories regarding the appropriateness of using new gTLDs.
As we said before, the new domain extensions now available guarantee advantages in terms of online reputation. In terms of SEO, however, the situation seems to be much less clear, even ambiguous.
The truth is that for Google there is no difference between classic extensions and new gTLDs.
Leaving aside .COM , which remains the most requested and most considered extension, all other extensions have the same value, if we do not take into account the discussion made previously regarding digital identity.
So if you are thinking of registering your domain with a new extension , leave aside the idea that thanks to this move you will have advantages in positioning in SERP.
