Google announced its partnership with the Associated Press to provide fresh news updates to its Gemnini AI Chatbot only last week, so the rollout of the “TV News Brief” experiment powered by Gemini isn’t a huge surprise.

Jaffer Zaidi, Google’s VP of Global News Partnerships, announced the collaboration on January 15, saying:

“AP will now deliver a feed of real-time information to help further enhance the usefulness of results displayed in the Gemini app.”
Kristin Heitmann, AP’s Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, said:

“We are pleased Google recognizes the value of AP’s nepal mobile numbers list journalism as well as our commitment to nonpartisan reporting in the development of its generative AI products.”
Looking forward
Google’s Gemini models and human evaluation aim to provide concise, real-time news updates from reliable sources across multiple platforms; Google TV News Briefs is another way of ensuring that happens.

Google said the experiment’s success depends on user feedback, which users can leave using this form on its TV Help page.

Although the Google TV experiment will initially be available only to some US users, a global rollout will be inevitable if the feedback is positive.
