Setting up and editing a Facebook shop via computer

Post by nusaibatara »

Facebook itself recommends editing your store via a computer. Let's show you how to do it. 🙂
Log in to Facebook using your account, which is also the buy phone number list administrator of your Facebook page. Click on the Facebook page and open "Settings".

Next, in the left bar, click on "Templates and Cards" and select "Add Card" from the menu.

How to add a card - Facebook settings
A menu of cards that we can add will appear. We will select the store option and click on “Add Card.” Then we will press “Close.” Then we will reload the page. I recommend moving the new “Store” card to the first or second position by simply dragging it. Done! You have set up your Facebook store.

There are still some final settings to make. Open your Facebook page and click on the “Shop” tab in the left navigation. Facebook may first ask you to agree to the terms and conditions. Click “Continue.”

Then we will see the Select payment method table , where two options will appear – either you will send people to your e-shop or to messages. Let's assume that we don't have one – in that case we will check "Message to seller ". Then we will click "Continue". Finally, we will confirm that the payment currency is EURO.

Step 2 – How do I add beauty products?
We have a Facebook shop set up – now we can add products. The goal is to choose a few products that we know are the best. So we will choose those that your customers praise. I recommend 5-10 products. That is a reasonable amount. Adding more products could cause the “favorites” to disappear. Or it would come across as unprofessional – with pressure to sell as many products as possible.
In addition to the photo (or video), the description can also include important information such as: name, price, and description. Less important information is the availability label and the "condition" of the product (new, sample).

How to add a product to a FB shop
First, we can add a product photo or video. We can download the photo or take it ourselves in our communication style on social networks. If you are interested in how to communicate in a unified style, you can learn about it in the article How to masterfully manage a Facebook page . The photo should ideally be in a square format (1:1) or 500 px x 500 px. It should not exceed 8 MB in size.
