Future: Fast Forward research

That's how it started for us too
As KNVB members and (former) football players, my colleague Remco and I saw an opportunity in the amateur football market. People stop playing football. Not because they don't like it, but because the conditions (such as membership and weekend obligations) do not fit in with an increasingly busy life.

Our solution to that problem is Kicks . Kicks was conceived in a small room and has been live for nine months now, as an independent project within the KNVB. This mainly yields advantages (reliability, network, resources), but now and then it also causes sensitivities (for example cannibalization of the existing football offer).

oT, blockchain, machine learning, AI… What will really be the impact of all these lightning-fast technological innovations? Instead of which technologies you use and how you use them, it will be very human factors such as ethics, self-knowledge and meaning or purpose that will make the difference in the future. For individuals and organizations. A different view on the impact of technology.

Soon, Formula 1 will no longer take place on wheels israel telegram data but in the air, a few meters above a futuristic illuminated track with the twists and turns of an average roller coaster. Loops included . And perhaps partly in virtual reality .

We need to look at reality differently to get the maximum value from new technologies. – Paul Bessems , blockchain consultant

In your next pit stop, you can of course just ask yourself how to make your car even faster. Or you can look at how to turn your current car into a more future-proof and possibly different type of vehicle. Or whether you can't have that vehicle controlled better by an algorithm. And, why you should actually want to be the first in a race, in the first place.

But to think about that, you first have to stop and think for a moment.

I have been fortunate enough to have some really cool conversations and meet some really interesting people over the past year. For the series Future: Fast Forward, I interviewed several leading visionaries and pioneers in innovation and data in Dutch business on behalf of Motion10.
