If necessary, write down your pitch in the notes on your phone and record it on your dictaphone to time it. 20 seconds is really the max. 10 seconds is better. I recorded the above, that is 13 seconds. I often even leave out the second sentence to make it even shorter.
Tip : Don't start talking really fast when introducing yourself, because that doesn't come across as professional. If you're worried about it taking too long, it's better to cut a sentence.
4. Follow up on fun conversations right away via Instagram or Twitter DM
