In this book, I use the terms "CEO" and "Social CEO" particularly frequently. Due to the particularly exposed position, this is the focus, but not the sole focus. All members of the management team are included, in the sense of the changed understanding described at the beginning. However, the book title broadens the understanding even further and includes other exposed people from companies and organizations. On the one hand, many of them are on their way to management positions. They cannot start thinking about their public impact, especially in digital media, early enough. On the other hand, managers at every level of the hierarchy are under special observation: by employees, colleagues and superiors, by external stakeholders. The impact of what such a person says or sends out increases with the degree of visibility. In doing so, I embed the topic, and thus the methodology of its development, in the larger context of corporate influencers.
